ARTIFACT: Rare, circa 1943 United States Navy PT Boat badge in sterling. The intricately detailed badge is in the shape of a PT boat leaving a wake as it cruises across the water and displays the letters: "PT" on the bow. The badge is a Herreshoff boat design, but no bow marking!

VINTAGE: Circa 1943.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/2" in length x 11/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling Silver.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come under locking catch.

MARKINGS: "STERLING"

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The badge shows moderate to heavy wear, much of the plating details remain.
