ARTIFACT: This is a rare circa 1909 British Boy Scouts 1st Pattern Patrol Leader and Seconder hat badge. The stamp on the Fluer-de-lis shaped badge is registered to #539538. There are two five-pointed star-shaped holes cut out of the badge.

VINTAGE: Circa 1909.

SIZE: Approximately 1-7/8" in height x 1-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Stamped nickel, copper lugs, brass keeper.

ATTACHMENT: Two lugs and clipping keeper pin.

MARKINGS: Rd. 539538

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Scouting collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months.  MAJV17 LABEX03/17 SABEX05/05/21

CONDITION: 9- (Excellent): Excellent+ condition for its age, with the original brass keeper pin and all.
