Rare & Beautiful Ca. 1908-1909 Ontario, Canada Chauffeur Badge #657

This is a rare and wonderful circa 1908-1909 chauffeur badge from Ontario, Canada. Ontario is the Canadian province that is home to the nation's capital, Ottawa. The badge is oval and is numbered 657 at center. The font used in the lettering is very decorative, and there are hatchmarks within the areas of the numbers. The badge curves in slightly at its edge and has a large safety pin fastener.

Circa late 1908-1909.

Approximately 1-15/16" in height and 2-15/16" in width.

Plated brass.

Horizontal safety pin.
