This is a rare 1930 driver or chauffeur badge from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Tulsa is a derivation of the Creek word for "Old Town". Tulsa was incorporated in January 1898, and had previously been a Creek and Lochapoka settlement for over six decades. The badge is oval and is numbered 339.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/16" in height and 1-9/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pin with saddle.
MARKINGS:339 on front.
