This is a rare and beautiful World War I "Iron for Gold" donation badge made by S.D. Childs & Co. of Chicago. The badge pictures the Iron Cross, which has a "W" at center beneath and imperial crown and reads 1914.
VINTAGE:Circa World War I.
SIZE:1-3/8" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under locking catch.
