ARTIFACT: This is a rare Italian-made 1950s air intelligence officer's jacket patch from the U.S.S. Independence CVA-62.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950s.

SIZE: About 5" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Embroidery thread on cotton and wool felt with cotton backing.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto garment.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a large collection of WW II to Vietnam vintage US Naval Aviation patches which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VDJX95

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): This patch is in good condition with minor wear and fading.
