This is a rare Italian-made 1950s air intelligence officer's jacket patch from the U.S.S. Independence CVA-62.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:About 5" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Embroidery thread on cotton and wool felt with cotton backing.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto garment.
MARKINGS:None.
