This is a rare circa 1943 Gruen "VeriThin" wristwatch made for members of Pan American's flight crew. The watch is in stainless steel with a black leather band.
VINTAGE:Circa 1943.
SIZE:Size 18L: approximately 1-3/8" in width and 9-3/8" in length (total).
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Stainless steel, glass, leather band, brass hardware.
ATTACHMENT:Wristband with buckle.
MARKINGS:GRUEN PANAMERICAN 121179 18L GENUINE LEATHER.
