Rare 1930s US Coast & Geodetic Survey CPO Hat Badge by Meyer

This is a Rare 1930's United States Coast & Geodetic Survey Chief Petty Officer Hat Badge by Meyer.

1930s.

Approximately 1-3/4" in height x 1-1/8" in width.

Gold plated brass with Nickel-plated brass.

Vertical pin with come-under locking catch.

Meyer's maker mark on top of catch. (Image 3)

8 (Excellent-): The badge shows minor to moderate wear. The center triangle on the disk was gold one time, but this bad has seen some wear and polishing and so most of that gilding is gone, but you can see a little bit of it through image 1.

As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
