Description
This is a rare 1930s Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) 239th Company ring in enameled sterling silver. The CCC was a work opportunity program created by Roosevelt's New Deal. The handsome ring has the original owner's initials engraved upon the front (JHR) beneath an enameled crest and has a maker mark inside the band.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:Approximate size 12 about 11/16" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver, enamel.
