ARTIFACT: This is a rare 1921 "The Howitzer", the yearbook of the Corps of Cadets of the United States Military Academy at West Point. Along with black and white photographs, this yearbook has some great color artwork and period advertising. The initials HER are embossed upon the cover, along with a howitzer against a scenic backdrop. The book was printed by Baker, Jones and Hausauer Inc.

VINTAGE: Circa 1921.

SIZE: 50 pages with black and white photographs and some color illustrations; approximately 11-1/4" in height and 9-1/4" in width and 1-1/2" in thickness.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Embossed cloth-bound cover, paper.

ATTACHMENT: Glued binding.

MARKINGS: Published by THE CLASS OF 1921 which graduated on November 1, 1918; VEH98 handwritten inside cover; HER embossed on cover.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. LCEJX4/13

CONDITION: 5+ (Very Fine-): The book has heavy wear and partial separation to the cover and some aging and very limited staining inside.
