Rare, 1910's - 1920's Los Angeles County, California Deputy Sheriff Guard Badge by Chipron Stamp Co., Los Angeles. The shield shaped badge is topped with a nicely detailed walking bear, below which reads: "DEPUTY SHERIFF GUARD 12D LOS ANGELES COUNTY CAL" as worn by guards of L.A. County prison.
VINTAGE:Circa 1910's 1920's.
SIZE:Approximately 2 3/16" in height x 1 5/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel plated nickel and paint.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with come under 'C' catch.
