This is a rare circa 1890s United States Marine Corps enlisted man's shako helmet plate. The design is an eagle, globe and anchor.

Circa 1890s.

Approximately 3-1/4" in height and 3-5/16" in width.

Gilt brass.

Screw post with slightly domed backing.
