Description
This is a rare circa 1890s Imperial German child's lion head cavalry saber. A miniature version of the officer's sword, this saber comes with its original scabbard. A fierce lion's head tops the grip made of horn, and there is a smaller feline head at the tip of the guard. There are some nice decorative details, including the cameo of a child or angels' head on one side of the guard.
