ARTIFACT: This is a Rare 1890's -1910's San Antonio Texas City Police Badge #25 with Matching 1890's - 1900's Bobby Hat Badge and 1910's Hat Badge. Lowest # Blanket Badge We've owend, Exceptional with the Early & Late Hat Badge.

VINTAGE: Circa 1890s - 1910s.

SIZE: Approximately City Police Badge: 2-3/4" in height x 2-3/4" in width Hat Badge: 2-1/2" in height x 1-15/16" in width 1910's Hat Badge: 2-1/2" in width x 2" in height

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel-plated nickel with painted lettering.

ATTACHMENT: Police Badge: Vertical kick type pin with forked locking catch. Hat Badge: Single screw post with disc backing and 2 pins 1910's Hat Badge: 2 Loops

ITEM NOTES: This is from a San Antonio, Texas police badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. PADEJX18 LCDIEX04/13/20

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The badge shows minor to moderate wear with nice patina> Being such a low number, pointing to early manufacture during the long period of wear of these badges,  the badge shows signs of having been refurbished, most likely by Simmang, during the period of use. Overall excellent condition.
