This is a Extremely Rare 1920's San Antonio Texas Motor (Cycle) Police Badge #16 with Matching Hat Badge. 2 Badge Set, Worn by Motor Cycle Police Officer John Shannon in 1928 with Simmang Hallmark.

Circa 1920s.

Approximately Police Badge: 3-1/4" in height x 2-1/4" in width. Hat Badge: 2-3/8" in height x 1-5/8" in width

Nickel-plated brass

Police Badge: Vertical kick type pin with forked locking catch. Hat Badge: Single screw post with disc backing.
