Rare 1840s-1850s United States Militia Sword Belt Plate

This is a rare United States militia sword belt plate (not for a cross belt). The plate is round and shows an eagle clutching three arrows and a laurel branch.

Circa 1840s-1850s.

2-1/2" diameter.

Gold-plated brass.

Rectangular loop and shallow clip.

7+ (Very Fine): Plate shows moderate wear along edge and has some very small dents.
