Pre-WWII Personalized Italian Air Force Pilot Wing with Stunning Details

This is a circa pre-World War II Italian Air Force pilot wing. The wing has stunning details, especially on the feathers, and is personalized upon reverse with the engraved word "Pupy". This wing was modified for post-1942 wear as a Royalist, co-belligerent forces, the Army of the South.

Circa pre-World War II.

Approximately 15/16" in height and 2-15/16" in width.

Gilt brass.

Horizontal pin with plunger-style catch.

"Pupy" engraved upon reverse.

7 (Very Fine): The wing shows some small spots of light to medium wear and tarnish; some minor oxidation on the reverse.
