This is a pre-World War I uniform button for the Belgian Ministry of Railway, Post and Telegraph (CHEMINS DE FER POSTES-TELEGRAPHES). A lion is at the center of the button along with the motto "L'Union Fait la Force".
VINTAGE:Circa early 20th century.
SIZE:Approximately 1" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass.
ATTACHMENT:Button loop.
MARKINGS:H A MASSIF BREVETE.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a postal collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAX00 LCCX7/12
