ARTIFACT:
This is a pre-Prohibition (before 1920) advertising bottle opener from the Frank Jones Brewing Company of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Frank Jones was an iconic figure, businessman and politico in the latter half of the 19th and early 20th century New Hampshire. The opener is keyhole-shaped and reads FRANK JONES BREWING CO. on one side and HOMESTEAD ALE PORTSMOUTH, N.H. on the reverse.
