ARTIFACT: This is a post-World War II (late 1940s) United States Army Air Forces or United States Air Force navigator wing by Vanguard. The USAAF became the USAF in 1947.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1940s.

SIZE: Approximately 11/16" in height and 3" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: VANGUARD N.Y.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAX07 LHEX12/11

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The wing has some small spots of light wear and tarnish.
