Pinkerton's US Detective Agency 6-Point Star Circa 1900 with Paperwork

This is a circa 1900 Pinkerton's United States Detective Agency six-point star detective badge along with period paperwork, including a Certificate of Membership and a letter of certification for one Charles H. McIlvain.

Circa 1900-1904.

Documents are various sizes; badge is 1-7/8" in height and 1-5/8" in width.

Nickel-plated brass with black painted lettering; paper (laminated).

Vertical safety-style pin with a "C" catch.

Certificate of Membership has a Pinkerton's embossed stamp.
