Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a pair of late World War II United States Army technical sergeant rank stripes. Made in the Pacific theatre, perhaps in Guam or on another island, each stripe is khaki twill on navy twill and shows three chevrons, the third one closed in by an arc at its base and underlined by one more arc.

VINTAGE:

Circa late World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 4-15/16" in height x 3-1/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Twill on twill embroidered in cotton/silk threads.

ATTACHMENT:

To be sewn onto uniform.

MARKINGS:

None.
