ARTIFACT:

This is a circa World War II submarine pin done in the "sub yard" style, but manufactured for sale as a sweetheart, homefront or patriotic badge. The only one I've seen!

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 5/8" in height and 3" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS:

None.
