This is a beautiful World War I United States Navy sweetheart pin in sterling silver. This is the first one of its kind that I have seen: an eagle with anchors framed by a ring.
VINTAGE:Circa World War I.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/16" in height and 7/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with C catch.
MARKINGS:STERLING.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a sweetheart collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJX12 LHEX1/12 SHEX9/12
CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The pin shows some small areas of light wear and moderate tarnish.
