Description
This is an old photograph of a Woburn, Massachusetts policeman who served sometime during the 1880s-1890s. It is a -view of him in uniform affixed to a white textured matting with a modern-looking curlicue design. The policeman, who may be the police chief because of the "1" on his hat badge, is also wearing buttons that are not totally readable but that show a "W" and perhaps a "P" for Woburn Police.
