This is a circa 1920s grain bag from the Maori, the indigenous people of New Zealand. The bag is woven in both plain and dyed indigenous fibers woven into a repeating pattern in earth tones.
VINTAGE:Circa 1920s.
SIZE:Approximately 29-1/2" in length (including strap) and 7-5/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plain and dyed woven fibers.
ATTACHMENT:Strap.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The bag is in wonderful condition with no pulls, rips or stains and hardly any fading.
