Old Hand-Carved Female Mallard Duck Decoy from Maine Estate

This is a nice old female mallard decoy found on a Maine estate. She is hand-carved in wood with an applied head and steel upholstery tacks for eyes. There is an age crack at her neck, but the original metal rod retains head in place. The original leather pull and lead weights are still on the bottom.

Circa early 20th century.

Approximately 6" in height and 11-1/2" in length and 5-1/4" in width.
