Large Hand-Carved US Navy Observer Wing from WWII

This is a large hand-carved wooden United States Navy Observer wing from World War II. The wing is over three feet in length and has just wonderful details from the anchor to the textured background to the individual wing feathers. It is numbered 5500 on reverse and has a bracket for hanging.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 39" in length and 9-1/8" in height and 1-5/8" in thickness.

Hand-carved wood.
