This is an old Bright, Indiana Detective Association badge. This association was known for its anti-black stance and KKK tendencies.

Circa 1910s-1920s.

1-9/16" height and 1-7/16" width.

Nickel-plated brass with painted lettering.

Vertical safety-style pin with "C" catch.
