This is an old "jail" key in the lever lock style, more commonly referred to as a skeleton key. There is a star mark just below where the shank meets the bow and four others on one side of the bit as well.
VINTAGE:Circa 1880s-1890s.
SIZE:4-7/8" length and 1-5/8" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Brass.
MARKINGS:Stars may be maker's marks.
