This is a World War I United States Army Boston (Massachusetts) Depot QMC (Quartermaster). The badge is numbered on reverse and is by Bastian Brothers.
VINTAGE:Circa World War I.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/4" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pin with rectangular saddle.
MARKINGS:S D stamped on front; 5897 BASTIAN BROS. CO. ROCHESTER N.Y. on reverse.

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): The badge shows some areas of medium wear and tarnish.
