Description
This is a framed circa 1900 print accompanied by the poem "June" by James Whitcomb Riley, an author known as the "Hoosier Poet". The poem is written in dialect, and extols the intoxicating virtues of a June day. The facing print is in earth tones and shows some band members playing a tune under a blossoming tree. Both pieces are matted and in a handsome carved wooden frame.
VINTAGE:Circa 1900.
SIZE:Approximately 20-7/8" in width by 15" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Matted color print, wooden frame, glass, paper backing.
ATTACHMENT:Two eyehooks with wire.
MARKINGS:Artist initials: SB (?); modern frame company label.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The print has been well preserved with some light fading only, with some small areas of wear to the frame.
