Description
This is a nicely decorated United States Air Force colonel's uniform from the Korean War made by Lauerstein's of San Antonio. The jacket has a wonderful wing, colonels' eagles and insignia, all in silver bullion. The "ribbon bars" are handsomely fully embroidered with beautiful leaf and star designs interwoven with the ribbons themselves.
VINTAGE:Circa Korean War.
SIZE:No size tag: 19" from armpit to armpit and 33" from where collar and shoulder meet to hem.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool/wool blend, silk partial lining, wool liner behind collar, silver bullion embroidered insignia, cotton/silk fully embroidered "ribbon bars" (gold bullion bordering one), plated brass buttons,.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The jacket is in wonderful condition, its only flaws being that one piece of bullion on one of the eagles has come loose (pictured above) and the lining has come away from the seam in one of the shoulders.
