ARTIFACT:
Nice WWII United States Army Air Forces Flight Surgeon grouping to Col. Walter S. Jensen. Grouping includes a unique ID bracelet and bullion Flight Surgeon Type 1 full size wing. Also included, an August 6th, 1928 letter written home describing assignment duties and family happenings and a total of three portraits, a 1910 portrait photo, 1930's painted photo, and a WWII photo showing Col. Jensen at his desk with aircraft medals and insignia. The artist of the painted portrait is Fred Hartsook, a well-known American photographer and owner of a California studio chain described as "e;the largest photographic business in the world"e; at the time and Henry Ford, Charles Lindbergh, Mary Pickford, and sitting President Woodrow Wilson were among his celebrity clients.

Bullion, tinsels, cardboard, snaps, portrait paper, painted photo paper, stationary, ink, and zinc.

CONDITION:
8 (Excellent-): All pieces are in wonderful condition. The WWII photo has creases, a slight tear, and light soiling/age wear ID bracelet shows some oxidation on reverse.
