ARTIFACT:
This is a World War II United States Army CBI (China-Burma-India) theatre-made shoulder patch. The patch was hand-woven in India. It shows a crest bearing red and white stripes with a white Chinese 12-ray sun and star against a field of blue.
VINTAGE:
Circa World War II.
SIZE:
Approximately 2-5/8" in height and 2-1/4" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Hand-woven/embroidered cotton, muslin backing.
