This is a nice World War II officer's badge for a graduate of the Polish School of Infantry and Motorized Cavalry in Scotland. The badge reads SZKOCJA (Scotland) at the top of a ring encircling a silver eagle. The backing is a nice period-made screwback using a 1938 British penny.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/4" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Bronze and silver plated bronze.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing.
MARKINGS:Backing has the markings of a British penny.
