Description

ARTIFACT:

Great vintage 1940's ??? 1950's newsboy newspaper bag from the Rochester, New Hampshire Courier. The red canvas bag reads: "ROCHESTER COURIER" in white lettering and features a flap closure.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1940's - 1950's.

SIZE:

Approximately 17" x 12" x 8-7/8"; Flap: 13-3/4" x 15-1/2"; Strap: 31" in length.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Canvas, leather, steel.

ATTACHMENT:

Flap closure, strap.

CONDITION:

7- (Very Fine-): The bag shows moderate to wear, steel shows minor oxidation, much of the lettering detail remains, overall excellent condition.
