ARTIFACT: This is a nice rare 1930's Boston Elevated Railway 40 Year Service Pin. The pin is made in enameled 10k Gold by Whitehead & Hoag. The pin has eight stars lining the bottom of it under a train tire with wings. Atop the tire is an hourglass. The details on this small pin are very nice

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's

SIZE: About 11/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled 10K Gold

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with locking drop-in catch

MARKINGS: "40 YEARS SERVICE. BOSTON ELEVATED RAILWAY. WAH. 10K"

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): There is very little wear or tarnish on this pin and the enamel is in excellent condition.
