ARTIFACT: This is a nice pair of World War II United States Navy Reserve (USNR) dog tags on a catgut chain. They originally belonged to Leopold M. Regal, with a T-date of July 1944. Regal was in the Navy for a very short period of time and had no overseas service.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 1-1/2" in width (each tag); 23" total length for chain.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Monel, catgut.

ATTACHMENT: Catgut chain, holes.

MARKINGS: VERNON NYC.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a WWII United States Navy dog tag collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VAEX14 LGJX3/14

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The tags show little wear.
