ARTIFACT:

This is a nice pair of World War II United States Navy Reserve (USNR) dog tags on a catgut chain. They originally belonged to Leopold M. Regal, with a T-date of July 194Regal was in the Navy for a very short period of time and had no overseas service.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 1-1/2" in width (each tag); 23" total length for chain.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Monel, catgut.

ATTACHMENT:

Catgut chain, holes.

MARKINGS:

VERNON NYC.
