Description
Nice old, circa 1910's Scotia, New York fire department badge. The badge features nicely detailed firefighting symbols on each side, the viewer's left shows a hydrant and the right a ladder and hook. Along the top and bottom it reads: "SCOTIA F. D." The reverse shows a nice maker's plate that reads: "C.G. BRAXMAR CO 1012 MAIDEN LANE N.Y."
VINTAGE:Circa 1910's.
SIZE:About 1-3/4" in width by 1-3/4" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silver-plated nickel, black paint.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with a "C" catch.
