ARTIFACT: This is a nice old circa 1890s police badge from Westerly, Rhode Island. This badge has the state seal at its center: an anchor with the word "HOPE" above. The side edges of the badge are quite ornate and raised. We have quite a number of other items from Westerly being sold separately: please see links at bottom of page for more information.

VINTAGE: Circa 1890s.

SIZE: Approximately 2-5/8" in height and 2-1/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin on bar with tongue-style C catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a police and law enforcement collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. RAJL13 LBBEX5/13 SAIJX7/13

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge has some light to medium wear and tarnish.
