ARTIFACT:

This is a nice World War II Purple Heart with an enameled background. This is a Type II purple heart, made by Rex Products. The hear is numbered on the side, reading as "106406."

VINTAGE:

Circa WWII

SIZE:

Approximately 3-1/4" x 1-3/8"

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold plated and enameled brass, silk.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal Pin with locking over-under catch.

MARKINGS:
