ARTIFACT: Nice, late 1930's Indian Motocycles lapel pin. The detailed motorcycle shaped pin is die-struck gilt brass with black painted details. The first Indian Motocycle was made available to the public in 1902. Indian released the first V-Twin, still a popular cruiser-motorcycle engine design today more than 100 years later. In 1908 the New York City Police selected Indian Motocycles for use by its motorcycle police.


This is from an early motocycle motorcycle motorcycles company collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1930's.

SIZE: Approximately 1" x 1/2".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Die-struck gilt brass and black paint.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop in swivel locking catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an early motocycle motorcycle motorcycles company collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBJX15 LAAEX6/15

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The lapel pin shows minor to moderate wear, nearly all the gilt brass and black paint details remain intact.
