This is a circa 1950s enameled lapel pin in the shape of an Indian motorcycle. Indian motorcycles started burning rubber in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1901, made first under the name Hendee Manufacturing Company. The pin is by Hookfast of Providence, Rhode Island.
This is from an early motocycle motorcycle motorcycles company collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months.
Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1/2" in height and 1-1/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin bar with squared-off C catch.
