Nice Korean War USAF Senior Pilot Wing by Josten with Unusual Maker's Mark Placement

This is a nice Korean War era United States Air Force Senior Pilot Wing in sterling silver, made by Josten. The wing has a beautiful patination and retains most of its original lacquer finish. The wing also has an unusual placement for the maker's mark, which is partially concealed when the clutch-back is on. The wing has a star above its slightly convex shield.

Circa 1950, Korean War era.

Approximately 1-1/8" in height x 3" in width.

Sterling silver, brass clutch-backs.
