ARTIFACT:

This is a Korean War era United States Air Force senior pilot wing in silver-plated nickel. It was made by N.S. Meyer Inc. of New York and has a star at the top.

VINTAGE:

Circa Korean War (1950-1953).

SIZE:

Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 3"in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Silver-plated nickel.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS:

N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK with raised Meyer shield maker mark.

ITEM NOTES:

This is from a Korean War era United States Air Force wing collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CON-JST-20-14 LAAEX1/14 SLAJEX7/15 SRET06/23 

CONDITION:

8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The wing shows only light wear.
