ARTIFACT:
This is a Korean War era United States Air Force command pilot wing in a shirt size. It was made by N.S. Meyer Inc. of New York in die-struck nickel and is in excellent condition. The wing has a wreathed star at the top.

VINTAGE: Circa Korean War (1950-1953).
SIZE: Approximately 7/8" in height and 2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Die-struck nickel.
ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS: N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK with raised Meyer shield maker mark.
