ARTIFACT: This is a Nice Early World War II United State Navy WAVES Collar Insignia Pin in Sterling Silver. WAVES: Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service "WAVES" was the US Naval Reserve Women's branch established on July 21, 1942.


SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" in height x 1-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling Siver, gilt brass.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop in locking catch.
