This is a nice early World War II shoulder patch for the United States Army 3rd Armored Division, nicknamed "Spearhead". The patch is a fully embroidered "yellow top" triangle and shows a tank track, cannon, lightning bolt and the number 3.
VINTAGE:Circa early World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 3-1/16" in height and 3-5/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
