ARTIFACT: Nice, clean example of the United States Military Model 1910 Condiment Can. The double ended, screw top can was used to carry the soldier's rations of salt, sugar, coffee, etc. This condiment can was manufactured by the American Can Company which has its name stamped into the dished cap on one end of the can, but is now barely readable (see photo).

VINTAGE: Circa 1910

SIZE: Approximately 7" x 2-1/2", (5" canister body w/o cap)

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated steel

ATTACHMENT: Two screw caps

MARKINGS: "AMERICAN CAN COMPANY 1889"

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The condiment can shows moderate wear, screw tops fully functional, and interior of can is in remarkable condition, overall handsome patina.
